Unite Our Community – equality for all
- Advocate for treating all people the same – respecting and caring for one another
- Support all people working together for the good of the District
- Work to eliminate profiling practices based on race, gender, religion and sexual orientation
Rebuild the District’s Economy – fostering economic inclusion, revitalization and growth
- Support educational opportunities and resources for youth and adults
- Advocate for jobs, workforce development and economic development
- Promote and strengthen entrepreneurs and small businesses
Improve Family, Senior and Neighborhood Services – work to ensure the 13th District is no longer the third poorest District in America
- Work to establish a federal minimum standard for decent and affordable housing
- Advocate for Medicare for all – expand access to mental health and physical well-being services
- Support initiatives that have a positive impact on the environment
